Happy with the fit and the design appears to add more protection than a standard-looking bike helmet. We bought two of these to go with our new e-bikes and felt that the added coverage would offer better protection at the higher speeds that the e-bike puts out.
My wife's father sustained a head injury in a bicycle crash so I have seen the devastation that can cause. Better safe than sorry!

I struggled for a while between form and function on a helmet. So far this one has been extremely comfortable to ride and wear for a few hours. The visor seemed silly until I rode in the evening and then it was a life saver. The adjustable knob in the back is super helpful.

If you want to be really safe, the best available for an ebike is the
Faster speed nta 8776 certification and MIPs. The plastic light that inserts into the rear is like from the dollar store. For that I take off one star.

I had to pay to send it back because I have no transportation to get all the way Amazon wants me to get to to return it so I was out $8. This helmet heard the back of my neck the round things where you adjust them those things hurt very uncomfortable

We selected the Bern Major MIPS helmet based on reviews and comparisons on YouTube. We wanted a helmet that offered the best protection yet was comfortable, light, and not bulky. There are several good choices out there including other models of Bern helmets. I have been in a couple of biking accidents where the helmet protected my head and potentially saved my life. In neither case was I even going that fast. I believe the new MIPS technology offers even better protection. I found the helmet straps to be more adjustable and offer a better, more comfortable fit, in part due to the adjustable wheel in the inside back. Also, the helmets offer proper ventilation to keep our heads cool and not sweaty during our hot summer rides. We like the built in visor in the front for extra shade for our eyes. All in all, this helmet is well-thought out and designed and well worth the money. A small price to pay for the "insurance" against injury it provides.
